Job Description

As an Inbound Marketing Specialist at Velocity, you will be an essential part of the marketing team in identifying new opportunities and optimising content strategies. More specifically, you’ll get to: 

  • Develop a strong understanding of products, competition, industry and marketing goals and objectives of the industry,
  • Actively brainstorm and propose new ideas for inbound marketing campaigns,
  • Measure the effectiveness of campaigns against agreed key performance indicators (KPIs),
  • Understand analytics and data, using them to create effective content strategies,
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry’s best practices, strategies, and offerings around inbound marketing,
  • Create, manage, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that leverage SEO, social, inbound marketing, email campaigns, and events to grow customer acquisition,
  • Be able to manage your projects and liaise with clients.

The Job Will Entail

  • Assisting in defining a funnel-based digital strategy across all paid media platforms with a viewpoint of lead generation and subsequent nurturing
  • Defining, managing and adjusting and optimising audiences across mediums.
  • Building out ad sets using a funnel methodology
  • Defining and building out workflows and automations post-lead capture
  • CRM and Martech implementation, management and optimisation
  • Optimising all campaigns in order to ensure ROI
  • On page and off-page SEO
  • Tag management
  • Reporting and Analytics
Martech solutions: Hubspot, ActiveCampaign and Infobip
Paid Mediums include: Google (search, display and discover), Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and LinkedIn.

Recommended Skills

  • Necessary digital marketing qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in inbound marketing or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating content for various channels
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Understanding and interest in data segmentation
