Vacancy: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

We’re looking for a mid-weight Sales Development Representative (SDR) with 5+ years of experience to join us. You will work closely with our Business Development Manager to define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), generate targeted prospect lists in Apollo, and execute direct outreach campaigns for Velocity and our clients.

This role requires expertise in email, LinkedIn, and phone-based outreach, hands-on experience with Apollo.io, the ability to construct automated workflows, and the skills to create engaging, conversion-driven email sequences that drive meetings and sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and refine ICPs based on client needs and market research.
  • Generate targeted prospect lists in Apollo.io.
  • Conduct outbound outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to engage prospects.
  • Manage and optimize Apollo.io workflows for outreach automation.
  • Write compelling and engaging email sequences tailored to different audiences.
  • Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to refine sales strategies and maximize conversions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Traffic Growth: Month-over-month increases in organic traffic for Velocity’s platforms and client sites.
  • Lead Generation: Consistent delivery of high-quality leads through content campaigns.
  • Engagement Metrics: Improved user engagement (CTR, time on site, bounce rates).
  • Team Development: Build a high-performing content team within 6–12 months.
  • Client Retention: High satisfaction levels across client deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SDR experience, preferably in a B2B, SaaS, or RevOps-related environment.
  • Strong experience with Apollo.io (list building, workflow automation, and email sequence creation).
  • Proven ability to conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and cold calling.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills—able to craft compelling email sequences and scripts.
  • Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot 
  • Analytical mindset—ability to track, measure, and optimize outreach performance.
  • Self-motivated and proactive—this is a consulting role that requires autonomy and initiative.
